Pilgrims on the Vía de la Plata
My story

Walking with strangers

In 2008, I walked the Vía de la Plata from Seville to Santiago de Compostela, a journey of over 1,000 kilometres.

Along the way, I met two other pilgrims: Horst, from Germany, and Manolo, from Spain. Although we did not speak each other’s language, we spent the next 50 days walking together towards Santiago.

Along the way, we experienced the true meaning of the Camino: three complete strangers, from different countries, with one goal in common.

I was fortunate to take my camcorder with me, and from that journey I created a film called A Most Unexpected Pilgrimage in Spain 2008.

Three complete strangers, from different countries, with one goal in common.

Best Enjoyed on the Big Screen

My Camino films were made to be enjoyed on a large screen, where the landscapes, villages and atmosphere of each journey can really come to life.

For the best viewing experience, I recommend watching on your Smart TV using the YouTube app.
