The Camino Pilgrimages to Santiago de Compostela
The Camino de Santiago translated into English means ‘The way of St James’ and each year many hundreds of thousands of pilgrims walk this collection of routes whose end point is the magnificent cathedral city of Santiago de Compostela.
It’s all in the planning….
Each of the Camino routes throws up its own unique challenges and completing one of the Caminos is a major achievement for a pilgrim. However, being unprepared for your journey can make achieving the dream difficult and lessen the enjoyment of the adventure.
Having completed all the major routesI have produced some interesting and comprehensive videos which are each about an hour long covering these journeys. These can be previewed and purchased on this site. These movies take you through each of the route stages and provide you with a visual interpretation of what you will encounter, including the regions and terrain and the various etapas or places to sleep overnight.
